New campus hours to be implemented during winter break

It’s reasonable to assume that all students are looking forward to the upcoming holiday break, but before we begin packing up and heading home, there are a few things to remember about what will be happening on campus.

First, due to system budget cuts, the university will be closed from Saturday, Dec. 19 until Monday, Jan. 4, 2010. Normal operating hours will resume Jan. 5, 2010, which is 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

The library will also be closed during these days but has some additional schedule changes both before and after holiday break.

Other important information to remember includes the Jan. 8, 5 p.m. deadline to pay Spring semester 2010 fees. Also, late registration begins Jan. 11 and ends Jan. 15. Be sure to check your student email account regularly, as this is how students will be contacted if any changes occur to class schedules or personal accounts.
