Institutional fee raised for Spring 2010 semester

The Board of Regents has put into effect a $100 per semester fee increase for all students. The new fee will go into effect January 2010 and will be applied to the upcoming spring semester. For all research universities, including Georgia State, the fee is now $200. Full story

Men's and women's basketball build momentum in early games

The men’s basketball team (5-4, 1-0 CAA) defeated the James Madison Dukes 49-44 this past Saturday Dec. 5th in Harrisonburg, Virginia.  The women’s basketball team (4-1) defeated the Presbyterian Blue Hoses 58-44 in South Carolina to add its third consecutive win also on this Saturday, Dec 5th.
